Don’t miss out on the cool abandoned bridge by Azusa in San Gabriel Mountains. The bridge has been a popular spot for bungee jumping. Famous celebrities like Zac Efron have bungee jumped this bridge. Overall, the hike is mostly a flat walk. However, it is a 10 mile roundtrip hike which took me and my friend 6 hours total. It can be challenging as you have to cross the river a couple of times. Make sure to wear some shoes that you do not mind getting wet. Also, make sure to buy an adventure pass just incase to avoid a ticket at some parking areas.

2. Hollywood Sign

Hiking the Hollywood sign is a must! It’s so iconic! It’s fairly easy but it can be a bit long to do hike. The most popular trail is the Hollyridge trail which will lead you behind the sign. If you need help getting directions, you can click here to get to my other article. The hike gets steep as you get closer but definitely worth it!

3. Cave of Munits

Address: 24501 Vanowen St, West Hills, CA 91307

This beautiful cave is truly a hidden gem! The walk up to getting to the cave is short, which can easily take 15 to 20 minutes. You can hike the mountain if you want something more challenging. Climbing up the cave can be tricky though. It is very steep and can get dangerous so make sure to use good shoes and have someone look after you. There is a longer and safer way by going around it and entering through the top. Once you are in, the breeze feels so good with the gorgeous scenery perfectly framed by the cave. Take it all in!

4. Wisdom Tree

The steep trail of The Wisdom Tree will lead you to something worth remembering! Once you reach the top, you’ll be welcomed by a huge tree with a treasure chest filled with journals, mementos and stories from fellow hikers. It’s quite a nice feeling to read each messages, see what others have to say and get inspired. Go ahead and write a note too and be part of that treasure then watch the beautiful panoramic view from above.

The Runyon Canyon park is quite popular so try to do it early as it can get busy. It’s known that celebrities go hiking here. There are different trails with different levels of difficulty. This hike is great for a work out and it has the most amazing view of the LA skyline.
