Street Food Cinema has been doing pop up outdoor cinemas around Los Angeles since 2012. Due to Covid, they started adding a drive-in movie experience. They pop in different locations such a Orange County, Malibu, Ontario, etc. (They keep adding new locations as time comes.) The best one in my opinion is the top floor of the parking lot of Glendale Americana at Brand. You’ll get the mini Eiffel tower elevator next to the screens and a beautiful panoramic view of Los Angeles from above. Make sure to always check their social media accounts and website to see what movies will play. They get sold out fast!! I suggest to turn on their push notifications on Instagram to always get an update when they make an announcement.
2. Tribeca at Rose Bowl Stadium
Location: Rose Bowl Stadium – Pasadena, CA
Buy Tickets: https://tribecafilm.com/drive-in/RoseBowl

You can see the Rose Bowl Stadium next to the screen while you are watching your movie. It’s at their parking lot with a back to back screen. Movie screens are very clear even during the day and there are a few food trucks around to purchase. We were given alcohol free Heineken cans that day due to their sponsorship. These movie events sell out fast so keep checking their website or social media to see what movie comes out and book it immediately to save your spot.
