10 Things To Do at Home on Your Own While Bored and Quarantined

With the coronavirus disease or COVID-19, we are strongly asked to stay at home as much as possible and quarantine ourselves. The government has told us to practice social distancing by keeping a six feet distance from one another to help flatten out curve and keep coronavirus from spreading.

Remember, just because you are physically apart with your friends, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t socially interact with them. Click here to find fun ways to hang with your buddies without having to leave the house:

As an introvert, I thought that I wouldn’t mind being at home all day but that changed so fast. I felt bored, isolated and a decline in my mood. Unfortunately, we have to adapt to this temporary ‘normal’ and switch our mindset. This is a time to make the best out of the situation and all the free time.

1. Work Out and Yoga

This is a great time to stay in shape, increase your flexibility and keep yourself healthy. There are a lot of home work out ideas online so you do not have an excuse to be lazy.

2. Declutter and Donate

Start getting rid of the clothes and things that you do not need. Donate them or sell them online. This way you can feel less stress when you are hanging out in your room.

3. Release your Creativity

Be creative and start to paint, draw or make a scrapbook. Even if you do not have the artsy talents, try painting by numbers. It does take some added skill and can be therapeutic.

4. Walk or Jog Outside

Step outside and take a walk or jog. Enjoy the fresh air while you still maintain your 6 feet distance from others.

5. Drive around

A great way to clear your mind is to simply drive around your neighborhood or city.

6. Pamper yourself

8. Do a Tik Tok Dance Challenge

Tik Tok has been trending lately to cure some people’s boredom, so why don’t you go and try it out too. The app has some cool editing effects that makes it easy to navigate for users.

9. Find a New hobby

There are a ton of indoor hobbies that you can explore on such as photography, gardening, cooking, reading, blogging and many more. Find your passion!

10. Time to Reflect

Just know that everything will go back to normal and this is all temporary. Use this time to explore yourself and make some goals. Plan some business, health or relationship goals. This is a time to explore new things and be grateful of what we have.
