Meet the Animals
Obviously, the main reason to stay here is the animals. I’ve never stayed somewhere where an ostrich or zebra is casually walking around, and you can truly feel how well cared for they are here. The sanctuary gives them plenty of space to roam, and it genuinely feels like a happy home for them. Here are some of the animals you might see around the property:
- Zebra
- Ostrich
- Emus
- Mini Horses
- Goats
- Chickens
- Pigs
- Dogs
- Peacocks
- Pony
- Turkeys
- Ducks

Day Pass & Guided Tours Available
For visitors who do not wish to stay overnight, day passes and guided tours can be booked through the official website. Day pass will also give you access to the pool and tubs.
Guided Sanctuary Tour
We joined the guided tour because it’s the best way to truly learn how the sanctuary began and hear the about the animals’ stories & how they got rescued. We learned so much along the way, including one fact that we thought was insane: male emus sit on the eggs for around two months straight — no eating, no drinking! During our stay, we saw two male emus were actively sitting on eggs.

What to Know before Booking
⚠️ Must be 18+
Kaleidoscope is an adults-only experience that is open only to guests aged 18 and over.
👫🏻 The owners live on-site at the main house. You might spot them outside going about their day and they are usually happy to chat with you.
🏡 There are a few other stays on the property, so you won’t be the only guests around — but the rentals are spaced far enough apart that you’ll have real privacy.
