If you remember being obsessed with the Princess Diaries since it came out 20 years ago, then you may want to unlock your childhood memory right now by visiting some of their famous film locations in San Francisco. Yup, 20 years!! Isn’t that crazy!

All the addresses are also here to make it easy for you all. Have fun and hope you get to do your own Princess Diaries tour soon! #nostalgia

1. Mia’s School – Anthony R. Grove High School

Princess Diaries School Exploring San Francisco

Address: 2601 Lyon Street

Here is the outside of Mia’s gorgeous high school! You can easily see it from far away as the road is leading straight to it. If you want to visit only one of the Princess Diaries film locations then you have to see this one. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

I hate to break to you but it’s not a real school! It’s someone’s home and they shot the inside in a high school in Los Angeles. However, it’s so majestic and just as stunning in real life!

2. Mia and her Mom’s Firehouse Home

Princess Diaries Home San Francisco

Address: 724 Brazil Avenue

Mia’s home is not really a scooter ride away from her school because it is about a 30 minute drive to get there. In case you are wondering,  you can also rent Mia’s home on Airbnb. Don’t expect the inside to look a lot like it was in the movie though but hey, the part of the pole from the movie is still there!

3. Lily and Michael’s Home

Princess Diaries Lily Michael Home

Address: 15 Phoenix Terrace

There’s an alley alley with a bunch of gorgeous trees is leading to their home. This is where Lily and Michael got picked up by Mia in a limo and the iconic scene when the pizza guy delivered a pizza to Michael with the word ‘SORRY’ spelled out in M&MS from Mia.

4. Vintage arcade at Musée Mécanique

You may remember when Queen Clarisse (Julie Andrews) and Mia took a day off to explore the city. The queen ended up arm wrestling a a masked man in the arcade and yup, you can do it too! So definitely make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf on Pier 45 and try see if you can beat this man on arm wrestling just like the queen did.

5. Cable Car Scene Street

Taylor Street and Broadway Street Princess Diaries San Francisco

Remember when Mia’s vintage car couldn’t make it up the hill and hits a cable car in the middle of the street? This famous spot is really the corner of Taylor Street and Broadway Street. Do check it out if you are in the area because is it is such a pretty sight!
