5 Unique Things To Do in Las Vegas
It’s no surprise that the sin city Las Vegas is known as the adult Disneyland because it is the playground for adults filled with drinking, partying, gambling and you know.
It’s obviously a lot of fun! Day clubbing is my favorite Vegas activity but Vegas has a lot more to offer than partying and gambling. Let’s look at some fun things that you can do in Vegas even if you are under 21.
1. Rail Explorers
Address: 601 Yucca St, Boulder City, NV, 89005
Price: $85 per bike for 2 people
Technically, Rail Explorers is not exactly in Las Vegas but it is in a very close neighborhood of Vegas so definitely come here if you are visiting Vegas. Its a pedal bike that goes through Nevada dessert railroad which is a great outdoor activity 30 minutes away from the Vegas strip. It was $85 for two us but so worth it! Most of it is downhill so you don’t have to pedal that hard while you check out the pretty scenery. The bike ride takes about 30 minutes for a 3-4 mile distance ride. Afterwards, a cool vintage train will take you back to where you started. There is a small train museum as well that you can explore after doing your ride.
2. Snappy Burgers
Address: 101 N Decatur Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89107 (10 minutes away from the strip)
Snappy Burgers is a family owned burger spot that has a free classic drive in movies. You can check their schedule before going in by texting the word ‘SNAPPY’ to 702-514-6700 or simply check their website. They have burgers, fries, soda pops, popcorn and shaved ice drinks. This will give you full on retro vibes!
3. Area 15
Address: 3215 S Rancho Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89102(10 minutes away from the strip)
Area 15 is starting to get more and more popular. It’s a big dark warehouse with loud music and neon lights. You can get free entry pass on their website but if you need to do any activities, you will have to pay extra. There are a ton of virtual experiences and games. Click on this link to see what games and attractions they have: https://area15.com/experiences/
I personally enjoyed the virtual golf and axe throwing. Of course, Omega Mart would be one of their top attractions which is a “grocery store” that is not what it seems like. Omega Mart gets fully booked easily so make sure to purchase a couple weeks ahead. Also, there is a huge barcade (bar+arcade) but that one. is only for adults over 21.
4. Top Golf at MGM Grand
Address: 4627 Koval Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Price: $33-$78 per hour per bay (Price ranges depending on date and time)
Top Golf Las Vegas is not your ordinary golf driving range because you will have the spectacular skyline of the strip as your background. You’ll have a waiter to server you some food and drinks. If you want to pay less, you can have up to 6 people each bay to share the price per hour. It is also cheaper the earlier you come in or if you come on a weekday. Happy golfing!
5. Black Out Dining in the Dark
Address: 3871 S Valley View Blvd Suite 8, Las Vegas, NV (5 minutes away from Strip)
Price: $89.95 and indcludes a seven course prix-fixe mystery menu.
Experience having a meal with your loved ones in a pitch black dining room. That is right! No phones but just amazing conversations with delicious meals in Black Out restaurant in complete darkness. The waiter will have night goggles and explain to you by detail on how you will eat your meals. They will not tell you the menu until you are done eating all of them because that is part of the fun! Keep an open mind and you’ll love it!
